LG's newest flagship phone, the V30, is the successor to their 2016 releases, the LG V10 and V20. the V30 is an android smartphone with a capacitive touchscreen and a 6.0" display screen. It has an 18:9 aspect ratio and a rounded display. The phone's front screen is made of 3D glass and its frame is made of metal. The LG V30 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 (2.45Ghz Quad Core) chipset and weighs 158 g.

The LG V30 has both a front and two rear cameras. The front camera has an f/2.2 aperture with a 90° wide angle lens and an 82° standard angle lens. The standard rear camera has a f/1.6 aperture and a 71° standard angle lens, and the wide-angle rear camera has a f/1.9 aperture and a 120° wide-angle lens.

V30 Setup

If buying the LG V30 directly from your wireless carrier, they will assist with activating the phone and transferring contacts and other saved information from an old phone. If setting up the phone straight out of the box, users will want to first ensure that the phone's SIM card is inserted correctly. After verifying the presence of the SIM card, choose the language you want the phone to display.

After choosing the phone's language, the phone setup wizard will prompt you to select optional accessibility options and select a mobile network.
